About The Opportunity
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Clozapine program! Are you passionate about helping consumers with a mental illness? Are you looking for work weekdays in the Liverpool area?
The position is based at the hospital, servicing clients from both Liverpool and Fairfield's Mental Health Service. The Clozapine Program provides evidence-based quality treatment and support services to people who meet the program acceptance criteria. When clozapine treatment is prescribed for a client of the F&LDMH, the treatment is coordinated through the Clozapine Program, and is monitored through formal review and reporting processes. Clinical indicators are collected, aggregated and analysed. Outcomes are reported to the Quality Improvement Committee.

Where You'll Be Working
SWSLHD Community Mental Health Services provide comprehensive, community-based mental health care across South Western Sydney.
These services cater to different age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and older persons, ensuring specialised care throughout various life stages. The multidisciplinary teams offer a range of supports, including mental health assessments, crisis intervention, care coordination, and therapy. They work closely with inpatient services, GPs, and other community organisations to provide holistic care.

Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Describe your recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a mental health setting. How did you ensure the delivery of safe, compassionate, and culturally responsive care? Can you provide an example of a time when you effectively communicated and engaged with patients, carers, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to address and respond to care needs? Discuss a situation where you used critical thinking to deliver evidence-based nursing care. How did you manage risk, ensure work health and safety, and contribute to quality improvement in the workplace? Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
