Responsibilities
* Responsible for ensuring all assigned areas are kept thoroughly clean and to Brand standards.
* Adhere to Hotel Handbook guidelines for presentation, grooming and punctuality.
* Develop and maintain cohesive working relationships with immediate team and wider hotel team.
* Communicate to supervisor any difficulties with service, guest comments and other relevant information; follow complaint handling procedures for prompt resolution of challenges.
* Provide courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following hotel standards of performance.
* Perform other duties as required by the Housekeeping Manager or designate including allocation of room cleaning, priority cleaning and assisting colleagues.
* Stand for long periods and walk long distances around the resort.
* Must be strong, healthy and fit with a passion for hospitality.
Qualifications
* Good communication skills; housekeeping experience preferred.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high standards.
* Physically mobile and able to carry, push or lift items such as linen, beds, bed sheets and vacuum cleaners; able to stand and move about the facility.
* Knowledge of safe working habits, chemical handling and hotel operations desirable.
* Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays across a seven day roster.
* Must hold a current Australian driver's licence and be eligible to work in Australia.
* Full working rights in Australia.
