Job Summary
Position: Clinical Psychologist – Kids Hub (Temporary Part‐Time, 26 hours per week).
Salary: $57.30 - $69.84 per hour + 12% super & salary packaging.
Location: Kids Hub, Fairy Meadow with outreach to other ISLHD sites.
Contract end: 27 June 2027.

Be a pivotal part of the Kids Hub service providing support to children with emotional, behavioural, and early mental health issues in a large dynamic multi‐disciplinary team.
As the Clinical Psychologist in the Kids Hub service, you will provide psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention to children up to the age of 12 years, working as part of a team of psychologists within the multidisciplinary team of medical, nursing and allied health clinicians, as well as other support positions.
This new service is part of a nation‐wide roll out of Kids Hubs jointly funded by NSW Health and the Australian Government to provide early intervention mental health and well‐being support for children up to the age of 12 years.
Responsibilities
* Provide psychological assessment and therapeutic intervention to children up to 12 years.
* Deliver family and child‐focused therapeutic interventions, emphasizing attachment, parent‐child relationship and parenting capacity.
* Use a range of assessment and therapeutic approaches, including psychoeducation, working directly with children or their parents/carers, family therapy work, group work and telehealth service provision.
* Prioritise referrals for vulnerable families and deliver interventions within the context of the family and their social support structures.
Qualifications
* Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
* Working With Children Check (WWCC).
* Current AHPRA Registration.
* Valid NSW Drivers Licence.
