Design and Build are partnered with national leader in the commercial landscaping space. They are winning work across landscape and civil infrastructure and need someone capable of running a site.
What You'll Be Doing Day-to-day
* Oversee on-site activities to keep operations running efficiently and on schedule.
* Organise and manage labour, materials, and equipment to ensure project deadlines are achieved.
* Carry out regular site checks to maintain quality standards and compliance requirements.
* Enforce workplace health and safety practices, identifying risks and putting controls in place.
* Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
* Lead, guide, and support crew members, including mentoring junior staff and apprentices.
About you
* Demonstrated background in commercial landscaping and/or civil construction environments.
* Confident leader who can direct teams and maintain a positive, productive work culture.
* Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively on-site.
* Solid knowledge of WHS legislation and environmental compliance standards.
* Comfortable reading and interpreting drawings, plans, and technical documentation.
* Hands‐on attitude with clear and professional communication skills.
* Holds relevant industry certifications, including a valid construction White Card.
* Current driver's licence with flexibility to travel between job sites.
