ATCO Australia is developing a 325MW Pumped Hydro Storage generation facility project near Yetholme NSW. This significant infrastructure project will play a key role in transitioning the National Electricity Market from coal fired electricity generation to renewable sources.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator within our Global Renewables division based in Sydney. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing team, providing administrative support to the Central West Pumped Hydro (CWPH) project team.
**About You**:
- Strong experience in the provision of administrative support to a major infrastructure project delivery team
- Experience in the development and administration of project plans, project registers and project reports
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups
- Significant experience using MS Excel and MS Word
- Proficient in the use of MS SharePoint, including the creation and maintenance of SharePoint sites
- Analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
- Experience with on-line communication and document control platforms (e.g. Teambinder, Aconex) and with SAP would be an advantage
- A project management qualification would be highly regarded
- Experience with EPC Contracts and Transmission Connection Agreements desirable
***What You Will Contribute To**:
- Assist with establishing and maintaining project document management and communications protocols
- Establishment and administration of on-line cloud based platform to manage and control project communications and documents
- Project meeting minutes and distribution
- Establishment and management of a project filing system, and interactive and current project SharePoint site
- Mobilisation of personnel to site as required and maintaining induction records
- Work with the Corporate Affairs and Document Control teams to establish project 'branding' and the creation of a consistent project stationary set
- Support the project team with final formatting, compilation and distribution of documents
- Assist the Manager, Communication & Engagement with the organisation of events, such as stakeholder forums, open days, workshops, etc.
- Establish project meetings and manage the project meetings register
- Assist with project cost control and liaise with ATCO finance to ensure project invoices are reviewed, approved and paid when due
