The Position
:
1. Full time position
2. Hands on role for a very organised Head Chef, collaborating with your team to deliver a premium experience across daily mess meals and events.
3. Maintain all catering and stock controls, OH&S compliance, and HACCP with a strong focus on waste reduction.
4. To ensure exceptional food safety and quality, prioritise rigorous allergen management and meet dietary requirements through thorough training, stringent ingredient controls, and regular audits.
The Person:
5. Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery
6. 3+ years displayed experience as a head chef in similar venues.
7. Comfortable with people management, training and developing.
8. High level knowledge in HACCP, allergen management and food safety.
9. Proven team leader with high level organisational skills who can work autonomously, with initiative and under pressure.
