Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Transmission Lineworker to join our team based out of our Dandenong South or Thomastown depot. In this hands-on role, you'll be part of a crew constructing and maintaining high-voltage electricity transmission networks across various sites—ensuring reliability, safety, and technical excellence in every project.
This position will require you to undertake travel and work away based on the work location.
Key Responsibilities:
* Construct & maintain high-voltage transmission lines
* Perform network maintenance inspections to quality and HSE standards
* Climb transmission structures safely and efficiently
* Interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and maps
* Operate plant and equipment as required for project tasks
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a qualified Transmission Lineworker who brings hands-on experience working in high-risk construction and maintenance environments. The successful applicant will be confident in interpreting technical documentation, working collaboratively within a team, all while maintaining a strong focus on safety.
The following qualifications are necessary:
* Certificate III in ESI – Transmission Overhead
* ELECTRICAL LINeworker Licence
* Current Australian Drivers Licence
* OHS Construction Induction card (White/Blue card)
* ESI Worker; High Risk Work Licence (EWP, Dogger); First Aid Training
