We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager for our busy Townsville office.
Key Responsibilities
· Month end processing (BAS, IAS, Payroll tax preparation and submission)
· Prepare and maintain financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, weekly and fortnightly payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
· Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
· Manage relationships with suppliers and customers
· Data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Support operations, sales and Management teams in peak periods
· Day-to-day duties of accounts payable/accounts receivable, General Ledger entries and reconciliations
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will have:-
· A Minimum of Certificate IV Accounting and Bookkeeping
· High Proficiency with MYOB accounting software
· Strong understanding of bookkeeping, payroll and accounting principles
· Extensive finance and administration experience and good time management skills
· Attention to detail together with a high level of initiative
· You will be a strong communicator and able to work at pace with changing priorities
· You will be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and have the ability to learn new systems with ease
· High Level of knowledge of the Statutory Reporting requirements to Federal and State authorities
· Ability to produce Financial Statements including Trial Balance, Profit/Loss and Balance Sheets as required
· Knowledge and experience in maintaining a Petty Cash fund and reconcile monthly
· Able to communicate effectively both written and orally
· Be able to work well in a team environment as well as autonomously and be self-driven
