As part of our continued growth, we are expanding one of ourelectronic locking technology platforms designed to extend access control beyond traditional doors. These solutions secure applications such as cabinets, display cases, drawers, access panels and other areas requiring controlled access.
We are seeking aBusiness Development Manager based in Sydneyto drive national channel growth and increase market adoption of these electronic security solutions.
This is a hybrid rolecombining field-based business development with flexible working arrangements.
About the Role
This is a hands-on growth role focused ondeveloping new sales channels and identifying specification opportunities across multiple market segments.
You will be responsible for:
Developing and growing new channel partnerships including:
* Access control companies
* Security integrators
* OEM manufacturers
* Locksmiths and security installers
Identifying and engagingend users and project stakeholderswho can specify electronic locking solutions within their projects.
Driving adoption of electronic locking solutions across applications such as:
* Commercial facilities
* Secure cabinets and storage
* Equipment panels and access points
* Industrial and specialist installations
Working with access control providers toextend existing access control systems into additional secure access points.
Managing thefull sales cycle from prospecting through to closing opportunities.
Providingtechnical guidance and solution-based sellingto customers and partners.
Representing Davcor atindustry events, partner meetings and customer demonstrations.
This role suits someone who understands theelectronic security ecosystemand is comfortable working across bothchannel development and end-user markets.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience inelectronic security, access control or electronic locking technologies.
You may currently work in:
* Electronic security
* Access control
* Security integration
* Security hardware distribution
* Locksmith or security installation businesses
Experience with the following will be highly regarded:
* Electronic locking systems
* Access control integration
* Security hardware and system deployment
* Working with security integrators or installers
* Technical aptitude (experience installing or configuring security systems is advantageous)
* Strong relationship-building skills
* Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and develop new opportunities
* Self-driven and comfortable operating in abusiness development focused role
