Introduction Who we are looking for We're looking for a strategic and detail-orientated professional to step into the role of Procurement Coordinator. This role is key to ensuring our procurement and contract management processes deliver value, efficiency, and compliance across goods, services and ICT. You'll lead the development and oversight of our Procurement Strategy and the procurement lifecycle - from planning and market engagement to contact management and reporting. You'll also focus on continually improving our procurement systems and embedding value-for-money, sustainability, and innovation into every transaction. This is a full-time ongoing position based in our Warrnambool Officer (or other Wannon Water location by negotiation) and comes with a generous salary of $99,465 to $110,954 p.a. plus superannuation. Description What you'll be doing On a day-to-day basis, you'll: Lead and manage the full procurement lifecycle, ensuring compliance with policies and best practices across goods, services and ICT. Develop and deliver the annual procurement report, including performance insights and key procurement KPIs that drive transparency, efficiency, and continual improvement. Develop and implement the procurement strategy, category management plans, and contract management plans. Provide advice and support to employees on procurement and contract management. Drive improvements in our procurement systems, contractor management, and inventory processes and systems. Ensure alignment with the Victorian Government Procurement Guidelines and frameworks. Support financial reporting and audits related to procurement and contract commitments. Skills And Experiences What you’ll bring You're a collaborative and analytical coordinator with a strong understanding of procurement frameworks and a passion for improving systems and delivering outcomes. You thrive in cross-functional environments, enjoy tackling complex challenges, and are driven to deliver value through every procurement decision. You will also have: Qualifications in procurement, supply chain management, business, or a related field - or equivalent experience. Demonstrated expertise in procurement and contract management, ideally within a public sector environment. Strong knowledge of the Victorian Government Purchasing Board policies and frameworks.
