Guest Service Representative
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Guest Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a crucial role in ensuring they have an exceptional experience with us.
About the Role
This is a customer-facing position that requires excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering Total Guest Satisfaction. You will be responsible for responding to guest requests promptly, efficiently and courteously while maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
* Provide exceptional customer service from the heart by responding to requests promptly, efficiently and courteously.
* Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and capabilities.
* Promote Accor Loyalty programs and recognize Loyalty members as royalty.
* Promote and up-sell hotel facilities through strong product knowledge.
* Maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure procedures are followed in relation to guest confidentiality and the issuing of room keys.
* Maintain procedures in relation to credit and cash transactions and accounting documentation.
* Attend to guest requests efficiently and effectively, consistently striving to provide Total Guest Satisfaction.
* Guest services: valet parking, assistance with luggage, booking activities.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous Guest Service Agent/Porter/Valet experience in a hospitality environment preferable but not essential.
* Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
* An understanding of the region, our competitors and suppliers is desirable.
* A passion for customer service with a strong desire to achieve goals and targets.
* Flexibility with regards to shifts, ability to work rotating rosters including mornings, nights & weekend shifts.
* Computer literate. Opera PMS experience is an advantage, however not essential.
* Impeccable grooming and presentation; excellent phone manner and organisation skills.
* Full, clean and current Australian driver license with the confidence to drive both manual and automatic vehicles is a must.
