The Role
We're hiring a mid-level Full Stack Developer based in Adelaide to help run the day-to-day engineering needs of a fast-growing product with a global customer base.
This role is customer-facing and practical: you'll triage and resolve technical issues, work with our support team via Freshdesk, communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders, and ship fixes and improvements quickly. You'll collaborate with our core dev team in Perth, while working closely with the CEO in Adelaide.
If you've worked on tech tickets, front-line support calls, or as an engineer embedded with support/customer success, you'll feel right at home.
What you'll work on
* Front-line engineering support (BAU) – Triage, investigate and resolve production issues affecting customers globally
* Ticket-driven development – Work from Freshdesk tickets and customer reports, and turn recurring issues into permanent fixes
* Full stack development – Build and maintain features across our (LoopBack) backend and AngularJS frontend
* Backend & APIs – Improve and extend services using, PostgreSQL, Redis, and REST APIs
* Performance & reliability – Identify bottlenecks, reduce errors, improve stability, and strengthen monitoring and resilience
* Customer communication – Provide clear updates, ask the right questions, and work constructively with support and customers
* Product improvements – Make fast, high-impact changes that improve usability, reduce churn, and lift customer satisfaction
* Modernisation support – Contribute to plans to gradually modernise the frontend stack over time
What we're looking for
* 3–7 years' experience as a software developer (or equivalent capability)
* Experience across both backend and frontend (full stack), including:
* (LoopBack ideal, but not required)
* AngularJS (or similar JS framework experience + willingness to work in AngularJS)
* PostgreSQL and Redis
* Tailwind CSS (or strong CSS utility framework experience)
* Confidence working with production systems and real customer impact
* Customer-first mindset and solid communication skills
* Previous experience with support tickets, on-call/incident response, or working closely with support/customer success (including support calls) is strongly valued
* Startup mindset — comfortable with ambiguity, quick prioritisation, and getting things done
Why you'll love working here
* Competitive salary plus equity in a rapidly scaling global SaaS company
* Some flexibility working from home upon request
* High-impact work with direct connection to customers and outcomes
* A supportive team across Australia and India, with a core dev team in Perth
* The opportunity to grow into broader technical ownership as the company scales
How to apply
Apply through Seek with your CV and a short cover letter addressed to the COO. Include a brief example of a time you handled a customer-facing technical issue (ticket, incident, or support call) and what you shipped to fix it.
