**Position overview**

The mission of Facilities and Services Division is to "Enable academic excellence at ANU through integrated and innovative facilities and project delivery." The four key portfolios are Corporate and Client Services, Maintenance, Operations and Projects.

The Maintenance portfolio has responsibility for the delivery of all maintenance activities at the ANU. This encompasses the management and delivery of all statutory, preventative and corrective maintenance, asset management initiatives and capital renewal programmes.

As an outcome of a recent Change Program within the Maintenance portfolio, the Facilities and Services Division seeks to engage a Services Delivery Manager to move the focus of maintenance services to a preventative service model through its people and enhancing business processes and supporting systems.

The Service Delivery Manager reports to the Associate Director Maintenance and is a key member of the leadership group within the Maintenance Portfolio. The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for the coordination and management of statutory, preventative and corrective maintenance, minor capital works and back log maintenance by the Service Delivery team and will manage a wide range of maintenance trade staff and external contractors, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, building and mechanical services.

To be successful in this position you will possess postgraduate qualifications (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and/or relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training. Experience in the higher education sector or similarly complex facilities management environment would be highly regarded.

You will have extensive experience and understanding of all aspects of building services and infrastructure management including building, mechanical, electrical, fire and energy management systems and their related data sets and a proven track record managing staff and contractors within a facilities maintenance services environment.

Key aspects of the role include: leadership, work health and safety, risk management, financial management and compliance.
