The Commercial Branch within the Virginia, Workforce and Commercial Division is seeking exceptional commercial, procurement, and contracting leaders at the EL 1 level.
Duties may include:
* Providing expert guidance and support to procurement planning, tendering, contract formation, and contract management activities while ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies, processes, and procedures.
* Reviewing complex to very complex contracting correspondence in relation to commercially sensitive reports, submissions, contract change proposals, and other documents as required.
* Leading and managing a team, including providing clear communication, setting performance and behavioral standards, managing performance, delegating responsibility, and guiding and developing people.
This role offers an additional remuneration benefit known as the Building Capability Payment (BCP). This premium is provided in addition to the base salary under the ASA Enterprise Agreement, supporting positions critical to ASA capability.

* End-to-end support for procurement activities, from need identification to contract execution and follow-up advice and support through contract management.

* Support and advice on requirements, management, and activities.
* Liaising with specialized services where required.
