Safety Advisor - Tier 2 Builder - $110 mil Commercial Project
My client is currently looking for an experienced Safety Advisor to join a leading Tier 2 business that has a great name within the industry.
They are looking for someone for a brand recent $110 mil project located in the Hills District.
The business operates in a variety of sectors including health, aged care, education and other commercial projects.
As a Safety Advisor you will drive and facilitate the site management of Health, Safety & Environmental activities including but not limited to:
- Providing specialist safety guidance to project leaders & site supervisors/workers.
- Positively advocate facilitation of HE&E; duties through mentoring and coaching
- Assess data via lag indicators (audits & incidents) to map trends and help influence the projects safety approach.
- Support the implementation of safety initiatives and new technologies to improve culture and company performance (HammerTech)
Requirements
- Demonstrated practical construction related safety coordination/management experience & knowledge, delivering small to large projects; built form (preferably), civil construction or infrastructure for government and/or private clients
- WHS industry relevant qualifications and certificates
- Collaborative communication skills consistent with effective consultation, influencing and relationship building.
- Competent computer and system skills - HammerTech training provided
- Experience working on multiple new build construction projects start to finish
- Australian construction experience - New build construction experience is a must
