Joinery Draftsperson/Cabinet Vision Detailer
A2 Kitchens & Joinery are seeking an experienced Cabinet Vision Detailer/Draftsperson with a relevant trade background to join their busy team in Launceston, Tasmania. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on a variety of innovative commercial and residential joinery projects.
About the role
* Interpret specifications and design concepts for the preparation of production-ready technical drawings;
* Create detailed and accurate manufacturing drawings and joinery plans using CAD software;
* Liaise with team members and clients to meet project requirements;
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of drawing files, material lists and cost estimates.
About you
* Experience as a CAD drawer in the cabinet making, joinery or related trade industry;
* Strong understanding of drafting techniques and ability to prepare manufacturing drawings and cutting lists;
* Strong understanding of trade materials and hardware;
* Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Cabinet Vision (preferred) and Microsoft Office;
* Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and understanding of quality standards.
The successful applicant will need to be able to work as part of a team and also independently, liaising with project managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality projects. This is a long-term role offering flexible working arrangements and/or remote conditions for the right applicant; salary will be negotiable based on experience.
