About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Law Legal Assistant to join our Brisbane team on a full‐time basis. We are ideally seeking someone with strong administrative skills who can work independently, but who also likes working as part of a collaborative team. You will have strong attention to detail, as well as great organisational and time‐management skills.
Duties of this role will include:
* Preparation of correspondence and legal documents;
* Communicating with clients, barristers, mediators, and others via email and phone;
* Diary management;
* Collating and indexing disclosure and briefs (including e‐briefs);
* File management and maintenance, including e‐filing;
* Filing and service of court documents;
* Workflow coordination and task management;
* Undertaking research tasks;
* Monthly billing and debtor control; and
* General administrative support.
