The City is dedicated to creating thriving community spaces, built on well-maintained facilities. As a key leader in Facilities Management, you will oversee the full lifecycle of building assets, driving strategic planning and maintenance for long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and motivate team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
* Establish effective working relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and community groups to deliver high-quality services.
* Develop and implement asset management strategies, ensuring alignment with annual and long-term capital plans.
* Oversee inspections, maintenance, and renewals of building assets, guided by established policies and safety regulations.
* Coordinate design, scope, and delivery of minor refurbishment projects, meeting timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
* Manage service delivery contracts to ensure public facilities meet agreed standards.
Requirements: Degree in Building, Construction, Asset Management, or Project Management, with relevant experience, or lesser qualification with significant experience. Extensive leadership experience, knowledge of WHS practices, facilities management principles, and statutory regulations are essential.
