We have multiple opportunities available, both permanent and contract positions.
The primary purpose of this role is to support the contract and procurement process for the Iron Bridge Project, specifically regarding the tendering of contract works, services, capital equipment, materials, and post-award contract administration and close-out.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, coordinate, and evaluate tender packages for contract works, services, capital equipment, and materials.
Negotiate contract terms and conditions, including price, to support project schedules and budgets.
Conduct sourcing activities in line with Project Controls, Contracts, and Procurement policies and procedures.
Identify and maximise cost-saving opportunities throughout the procurement process.
Provide reports, analyses, and advice to support procurement and contract decision-making.
Identify and evaluate key risks at the contract formation stage, collaborating with technical, legal, and other relevant teams as needed.
Oversee contract administration, including correspondence, contract notices, payment assessments, and claims management.
Qualifications and Experience
Experience in contract administration, procurement, or supply chain management within mining or other similar heavy industries.
A bachelor’s degree in commerce, business, law, or a related field is desirable.
Ability to engage effectively with engineers, legal teams, quality management, project controls, and logistics to ensure delivery parameters are met.
Clear, professional, and respectful communication with all team members and external partners.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple work packages.
In-depth knowledge of contract administration processes and procurement strategies within a project-based environment.
