About the Role
This exciting opportunity is a chance to join our team as an HR Specialist and drive strategic people initiatives across workforce planning, culture and engagement, policy, EVP, and employee relations. As a key partner with leaders, you'll help create a workforce where people can grow and succeed.
Based at our Perth head office near the airport, you'll work closely with the Manager, Human Resources, to support a diverse portfolio in a true generalist capacity. You'll have autonomy to influence best practice and drive continuous improvement, making a real difference in a world-class integrated iron ore mining, rail and port operation.
In this role, you'll:
* Partner with leaders to provide end-to-end HR support, aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
* Implement and harmonise HR policies and processes to ensure consistency and best practice across the organisation.
* Provide expert HR advice and coaching across the full employee lifecycle, guiding leaders on performance, employee relations, and risk to deliver impactful and sustainable outcomes.
* Deliver strategic and tactical HR programmes, including performance management, organisational design, remuneration and benefits, and employee relations.
* Engage and influence leaders, providing coaching and support to drive talent management and development initiatives.
* Advise on performance matters and contribute to succession planning and workforce strategy.
* Champion continuous improvement, streamlining HR processes and enhancing the employee experience.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Strong capability to work across both strategic and operational HR.
* Demonstrated experience in a HR generalist or specialist role, ideally in resources, mining, or heavy industry.
* Strong knowledge of Australian employment law and contemporary HR practice.
* A strategic mindset with a passion for driving change and delivering results.
* Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
* Energy, initiative, and a collaborative approach.
