The OpportunityDue to growth, a newly created Finance Manager role has been established, reporting to the Financial Controller, who brings deep audit, banking, and property development expertise. You will oversee two junior accountants while remaining hands-on in the detail, ensuring the financial integrity of both corporate and project operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead month-end close processes including management accounts, P&L;, and balance sheet reconciliations.Prepare statutory reporting, liaise with auditors, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.Deliver timely and accurate cashflow, treasury, and loan covenant reporting.Oversee tax compliance including BAS, liaising with external advisors as required.Ensure accuracy of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial controls.Partner with project managers on feasibility assessments, budgets, and project cost reporting.Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and mentor two junior accountants.
About YouCA qualified with 3+ years post-audit commercial experience.Ideally gained exposure in property development, construction, or related industries.Strong month-end, project accounting and financial reporting background.Highly capable Excel skills and ERP systems experience.A proactive leader ready to step into a Finance Manager role.
