Sunshine Coast Orthotist 3+ years experience
A BIT ABOUT US
AbilityMade is a social enterprise that exists to increase the access of quality AFO's to children in Australia.
Globally, 100 million people need orthoses—but only 1 in 10 receive them (WHO,
2015). In Australia, we only have about 35% of the orthotists needed to meet
demand (AOPA, 2012).
That's why we exist: to help clinicians help more people in innovative ways. We
believe no one should miss out on the equipment they need to live life fully.
We've developed Australia's premier digital fabrication platform for custom-made orthoses, used by orthotists in every state of Australia, that scales up a clinician's capacity to generate positive outcomes for people with disabilities. We've delivered over 4000 custom AFO's to date.
We've also partnered with leading disability providers to develop state-of-the-art clinic management systems that further increases your capacity.
We're a small, weird and wonderful team of 15 people based across Sydney &
Sunshine Coast united by a passion for impact and innovation.

* We mechanically test 3D printing materials and geometries for custom-made orthoses.
* We experiment with alternative ways of working and organising ourselves.
