About the Opportunity
A mixed billing practice established for over 25 years in the Glengarry West area is needing to replace a general practitioner who is moving on from the clinic in a few months' time. Located less than 10km away from LaTrobe Base Hospital with a major cancer centre and visiting specialists, the clinic is open 365 days a year and also services a local nursing home. The incoming GP will be working alongside a mental health professional, diabetes educator, obstetrician, registered nurse and take over an existing patient load of varying demographics. Range of clinical services provided at this clinic include : patient referrals to specialists / allied healthcare / pathology / imaging, minor surgery including skin checks and procedures, health assessments and medication reviews, women and men's health issues, dressings, travel advice and occupational medicine etc. Applicants should ideally live and work nearby to be able to participate in the clinic's rotating rosters and be on-call when the occasion arises. Essential Criteria : MBBS or equivalent
* Minimum AHPRA GENERAL / SPECIALIST registration
* FRACGP qualified
* Team Player
