Immediate start 8-12 week contract circa $85K - $110K pro rated based on contracted hours

**Your new company**

Our client is a leading provider of integrated consulting, legal and commercial services to government and large organisations.

**Your new role**

Processing of financial transactions, mainly in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll, using the Financial Force accounting system, and including MYOB for Payroll. Work closely with Finance Manager to ensure general ledger is accurate, and transactions are recorded in the correct periods and general ledger accounts. Assist the Finance Manager and Group Manager Finance with queries, and run reports to analyse GL accounts and payroll costs as requested.

Accounts payable
- Enter Accounts Payable invoices
- Liaise with Managers re invoice approvals
- Review expense claims and follow up queries
- Pay and process supplier invoices and expense claims

Compliance
- BAS processing quarterly
- Workcover
- ACT payroll tax monthly
- Other states payroll tax annually

Accounts Receivable
- EOM invoicing, in conjunction with Finance Manager
- Sending reminders and follow up invoices
- Aged Debtors reporting
- Accrual reports for clients
- Quarterly report for clients

Banking
- Upload bank statements
- Reconcile and receipt payment s
- Reconcile credit card statements monthly
- Ensure sufficient fund s are available before payroll and Accounts Payable payment runs
- Issue credit cards in conjunction with Finance Manager

Payroll
- Onboarding staff
- Casual payroll (monthly) and permanent payroll (fortnightly)
- Process offboardings
- PAYG payment after each payroll

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Extensive experience in accounts and financial transactions processing
- Track record of success in accuracy and timeliness of processing
- Can-do attitude, and willingness to work collaboratively with others to find solutions to challenges that arise
- Track record of success in communicating with business operations staff to ensure appropriate allocation and accurate processing of financial transaction s
- Track record of confidentiality re payroll and other sensitive information.
- Track record of suggesting and implementing process improvements

Preferred:

- Experience in professional services
- Experience with an integrated and complex financial system
