About The Role
As BIM Coordinator, you'll play a key role in shaping and supporting high quality digital delivery across the practice. You will coordinate the development and implementation of Revit and BIM standards, support complex project workflows, and guide teams to ensure technical excellence and compliance. You'll also contribute to digital initiatives, help evaluate emerging technologies, and build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Coordinates and assists the implementation of Revit and BIM, including 3D modelling and documentation on projects
* Coordinates and assists the export and exchange of 3D models on cloud systems
* Coordinates and assists development and documentation of Revit and BIM standards
* Coordinates and assists processing of 3D model audits against Revit and BIM standards
* Coordinates and assists development of initiatives
* Promotes standards, processes, and innovation to technical staff and Project Leaders
* Informed and collaborating on agreed processes with external project stakeholders. Contributes to BIM deliverables including BIM Execution Plans
* Informed and engages with emerging technologies. Raises awareness of emerging technologies for adoption
* ISO 19650 buildingSMART Foundation certification
* Seek prompt advice from senior project staff on any problems that might affect project quality, deadlines, or finances and be involved in actions to restore quality
* Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, technical experts and internal staff
Competencies
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, that enable effective, timely and clearly understood communication
* Proficient time management skills and organisation skills, capable of autonomously handing delegated tasks or mark ups with limited supervision while also contributing productively with a team dynamic
* Ability to work productively and effectively as part of a team, including supporting junior members with technical advice
* Commitment to ongoing education and improvement, staying up to date on industry knowledge, standards, training, and actively seeks mentoring from senior staff
