What you'll do
Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
Successfully complete educational and practical requirements within the term of the cadetship (nominally 2-4 years, though extensions may be granted at the discretion of the Executive Director, Biomedical Technology Services (BTS). Failure to meet these objectives will result in termination of employment.
Perform general technical support activities which may include: Receipting and delivery of health technology equipment; Equipment packing and dispatch; Management of: parts, consumables, test equipment and technical manuals; Data entry and checking; Telephone answering and client service; Miscellaneous assistance as required.
Upon successful completion of studies cadets will progress to the position of Biomedical Technician.

The ability to analyse and solve problems by drawing on knowledge and applying logical thought processes.
