Casual Kitchen Hand Role Overview

The Casual Kitchen Hand will be responsible for day-to-day kitchen operations, including salad and sandwich production, central plating, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
All duties must be performed in compliance with the department's Food Safety Plan.
About You:
* You will need relevant experience in a large food service environment or training with a recognised provider.
* You should have good knowledge of food products and food production systems and processes.
* A positive attitude to work and the ability to work as part of an effective team is essential.
* You will also need good organisational skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy.
* Communication skills are also required, as you will need to interact effectively with staff at all levels and work collaboratively with the management team.
* Familiarity with food safety and hygiene principles, as well as Work, Health & Safety principles, is also necessary.
