Job Title: Principal ICT Solutions Architect

The Long Service Corporation is a standalone agency within the Department of Customer Services that reports directly to the Managing Director of Service NSW whilst maintaining its executive agency status.
About the team
The Long Service Corporation (LSC) manages portable long service schemes for the building and construction industry and contract cleaning industry, and we are about to launch our third scheme for the community services industry (CSI).
You'll be joining the newly established Digital and Program Delivery team in LSC which is leading the delivery of new portable long service leave schemes. As Principal ICT Solutions Architect you will lead the design and delivery of innovative, enterprise-level ICT solutions, shape the strategic architecture direction and ensure alignment with business objectives and technology standards.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks, reference models, and solution designs for complex ICT systems.
* Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
* Ensure compliance with architecture principles, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Provide expert guidance on emerging technologies, integration patterns, and cloud adoption strategies.
* Identify technical risks early and propose mitigation strategies.
* Produce high-quality architecture documentation and present solutions to executive and technical audiences.
What You Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you should have:
* Proven track record in enterprise architecture and solution design for large-scale ICT environments.
* Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), integration technologies, security frameworks, and modern application architectures.
* Ability to align technology solutions with business goals and long-term strategies.
* Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, and mentoring capabilities.
* Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
* Analytical approach to complex challenges with innovative and practical solutions.
