MEGT has a fantastic opportunity with one of our clients for a 1st or 2nd Year apprentice in Sydney, NSW
About the Employer
Our employer operates within the HVAC and refrigeration industry, delivering quality air conditioning solutions across industrial and commercial projects. You will be working alongside experienced technicians on a variety of installation projects, servicing and maintenance allowing you to build practical skills and confidence while completing your trade qualification.
About the role:
* Assist with the installation of refrigeration and air conditioning systems across commercial and industrial sites.
* Diagnose system faults and troubleshoot HVAC issues and supporting qualified technicians to identify mechanical, electrical or control-related problems.
* Ensure all systems operate efficiently and reliably, completing work in accordance with manufacturer specifications, Australian Standards, safety requirements and industry compliance regulations.
* Carry out repairs and component replacements such as compressors, fans, motors, valves and controls under supervision,
* Work across a range of industrial and commercial HVAC projects, including new installations, upgrades, commissioning and ongoing service and maintenance.
What we're looking for:
* Reliable, dependable and mature minded.
* White card.
* A valid Driver's License as you will be required to travel to sites.
