Overview

AWB Co. are a dynamic and rapidly expanding company operating across Perth and Adelaide. We are registered builders, licensed electrical, plumbing and gas fitting contractors. Based in Burswood, we proudly serve the Perth metropolitan area.

Role

We’re looking for a Business Support Administrator to join our team in Perth to be the heart of our operations — keeping things running smoothly, supporting our team, and creating a welcoming and efficient workplace for staff and visitors alike. We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive, and friendly individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but we’re open to enthusiastic entry-level candidates with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

- General Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support including document formatting, printing, scanning, filing, and minute-taking for internal meetings.
- Maintain and update internal registers such as document control registers and compliance records.
- Perform general ad-hoc administration tasks across the business as required — including support for site teams, procurement, finance, estimating, and compliance.
- Assist with the setup of jobs, quotes, and tenders within AWB’s operating systems, ensuring all documentation and data entry is accurate and timely.
- Assist in the preparation and formatting of tender submissions and project documentation.
- Maintain and update the document control register for active tenders and projects.
- Coordinate internal inputs for bids, including gathering compliance documents, certifications, and CVs.
- Track tender deadlines and submission milestones.
- Maintain and update client and lead databases, ensuring accuracy and relevance for business development activities.

What you will need

- Previous experience in office administration or coordination preferred but not essential
- A proactive, can-do attitude with strong multitasking and time management skills
- A keen eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills
- Comfortable using MS Office and basic office equipment
- A team player who takes pride in creating an efficient and welcoming workplace
