A high-profile Federal Government Department is seeking an experienced Senior Automation Tester to support the delivery of a major regulatory services enhancement program. The successful Senior Automation Tester will secure an initial contract through to 30 June 2026 with 2 x 12 month extension options and a rewarding hourly rate.
The successful Senior Automation Tester will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Designing, building, and executing automation test plans across web, mobile, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and APIs
* Implementing and maintaining automation scripts using tools and frameworks including Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro, and Azure DevOps pipelines
* Developing and executing non-functional testing including performance, load, and accessibility testing using Azure Load Testing, JMeter, and WCAG tools
* Collaborating with delivery teams to ensure test coverage, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across CI/CD pipelines
The successful Senior Automation Tester will have experience in the following:
* Proven experience in end-to-end functional and non-functional automation testing across modern platforms
* Hands-on skills in scripting with TypeScript, C#, Python and tools such as Playwright, Selenium, and EasyRepro
* Experience integrating automated test suites within Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
* Knowledge of web accessibility testing tools and WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines
