Senior Market Growth Manager
Drive business development and marketing strategy for industry groups, executing profitable growth opportunities and leading market positions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute the industry strategic plan to unlock profitable growth for our business and clients.
* Work closely with partners, consultants, and lawyers to set and lead strategy, prioritizing execution and collaboration.
* Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with presence and deep understanding of the industry, including key matters, deals, stakeholders, influencers, competitor landscape, client footprint, and market position.
* Coach partners and lawyers on strategic business development advice.
* Lead pitches and collaborate with Client Market Growth Business Unit colleagues to apply industry insights to bids.
* Drive client conversations to maintain client intelligence, nurture relationships, and uphold service excellence.
* Identify opportunities across business units, priority areas, clients, and geographies, supporting the formation of cross-business unit teams to pursue opportunities and strengthen pipelines.
* Qualify and develop high-quality client-facing materials and precedents with compelling value propositions.
* Collaborate with the brand/marketing team to validate, design, and deliver client and market engagement strategies, prioritizing industry objectives through integrated marketing campaigns.
About You:
* Tertiary qualifications (or equivalent) in marketing, business, or a related discipline.
* 7+ years' experience in business development or equivalent work experience, preferably in professional services and the energy and resources industry.
* Proven ability in strategic planning and client account management to deliver commercial outcomes.
* Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills, with high attention to detail.
* Collaborative and adaptable approach, nurturing relationships with stakeholders at all levels across the business.
* Ability to manage competing tasks in a fast-paced environment, working within tight timeframes.
* Strong influencing and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders.
* Commercially focused approach, with strong analytical and planning skills.
* Leadership mindset, with the ability to work with, mentor, and connect with people at all levels.
