People & Culture People Partner, Principal Specialist

The People & Culture People Partner, Principal Specialist North America serves as the front‐office People & Culture consultant for employees and managers, ensuring a harmonized employee experience and deploying global People & Culture programs locally. This is a hybrid role and would require you to be in the Maitland or Dallas office 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

* Foster proximity through employee relations: serve as a primary contact at the local level for employee relations issues, resolve conflicts and address grievances.
* Manage the employee journey and provide a harmonized employee experience aimed at increasing engagement.
* Act in conjunction with Global BPs as a P&C consultant to local management on P&C matters, including change management, workforce planning, talent & performance management, and reward management.
* Run critical P&C operational activities – employee services, consultation, reorganizations, promotions, disciplinary actions, systems maintenance.
* Partner with group Centers of Excellence to deploy global P&C initiatives and analyze people and organizational metrics.
* Align and coordinate end‐to‐end P&C processes and frameworks.
* Champion and execute inclusion and belonging initiatives at the local level.
* Implement People & Culture strategies and initiatives that support the business strategy.
* Develop and maintain a culture open to change and innovation, supporting collaboration, respect and accountability.
* Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws.
* Assist senior leadership in building an empowering workplace through performance management, feedback, coaching and support.
* Manage employee performance and salary review processes.
* Participate in industry conferences and educational opportunities to grow professional networks.
* Ensure studio compliance with OH&S, IR and ER policies.
* Create, update, maintain and improve studio HR policies.
* Act as the main contact for People & HR matters.
* Partner with senior leadership to implement strategies for employee engagement and retention.
* Ensure consistent compliance with Employment & Labor laws of the area.

About The Ideal Candidate

* Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Professional certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) are a plus.
* 5–8+ years in HR/People & Culture, including employee relations and labor law compliance.
* Experience with talent management, succession planning, compensation and governance processes.
* Experience in managing HR data.
* Previous experience with all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and exit.
* Experience in multi‐country or regional HR operations is preferred.
* Ability to travel up to 20%.
* Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
* Knowledge of Workday or similar tool.
* Hospitality experience is a plus.
* Locations: Maitland, Orlando or Dallas.
* Ability to work a hybrid work model.
