**Job Opportunity: Help Desk Support**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our IT team as a Help Desk Support specialist. This role will play a vital part in the business, working closely with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve overall IT services.
Key responsibilities include:
* Responding to and resolving help desk requests, investigating and troubleshooting issues, and following up where necessary
* Creating, managing, updating, and routing IT tickets within local and global teams
* Installing new or rebuilding existing computers and configuring hardware, peripherals, services, settings, security permissions, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
* Repairing and recovering from hardware or software failures, coordinating with impacted customers, and communicating effectively
* Providing induction training for new staff and when new systems or hardware are introduced
* Offering assistance to other IT staff as required
* Raising and managing departmental purchase orders where needed
Requirements for success in this role include:
* 2+ years of experience in a level one/two helpdesk or system administrator role
* Professionally managing small to medium projects with reporting to management
* Demonstrating management and troubleshooting of complex IT issues
* Previous experience participating in a range of IT projects
* Desirable skills include experience with Windows and Linux servers, VMware, Cisco, ITIL and MSCA certifications, and proficiency in Microsoft Office
