The Opportunity & How You Will Make An Impact
We're on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Consultant to join our Perth office Leveraging your technical expertise and proven skills, you'll support our clients by offering sound statutory and strategic urban planning advice and insights.
As a senior strategic planner, you will lead and contribute to the delivery of high-impact land use planning and policy projects, primarily for public sector clients.
Lead or contribute to the preparation of strategic land use planning projects, including growth strategies, precinct plans, employment and housing studies and supporting technical inputs.
Provide high-quality planning analysis and advice informed by current government policies, regional and local priorities and stakeholder needs.
Collaborate with internal and external multidisciplinary teams, including specialists in economics, urban design, transport, infrastructure advisory, community planning and stakeholder engagement.
Prepare and review reports, presentations and public-facing documents that communicate complex planning concepts clearly and persuasively.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality.
Coach and develop individuals with the team, as appropriate.
About You

Holds tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Town Planning or a related discipline.
Ideally minimum 3 years' experience within an Urban Planning firm-based environment.
Strong knowledge of strategic planning and related legislation, ideally gained in a consultancy or local/State government environment.
Proficient appreciation and understanding of strategic policies, processes and influences.
Proficient appreciation and understanding of impacts and issues affecting land use and development.
