Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team. As a key member of the maintenance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our Heavy Mobile Equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and scheduling short to long term maintenance, initiating and monitoring purchasing and logistics processes, and developing a budget for equipment maintenance.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be required to communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensure all maintenance and statutory information is up to date and accurate, and actively engage with the mining operations team to ensure plans are aligned with production objectives.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and schedule short to long term maintenance for Heavy Mobile Equipment
* Initiate and monitor purchasing and logistics processes to ensure parts, equipment, resources, and tooling are available when required
* Develop a budget for equipment maintenance
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure plans are aligned with production objectives
* Ensure all maintenance and statutory information is up to date and accurate

Requirements
* Relevant maintenance planning qualifications or experience
* Previous planning experience on heavy ancillary equipment would be an advantage
* Mechanical trade or experience in a prior planning role
* Understanding of CMMS systems and ability to maintain and improve
* Maintenance management diploma or mechanical engineering qualification advantageous
* Maintenance planning experience with shutdowns/service days in a mobile plant environment
* Experience in maintenance master data SAP or similar highly regarded
* Current driver's license
* Competent user of MS Project, MS Word, and Excel
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills at all levels
* Effective planning and organizing skills with ability to deliver on simultaneous projects with competing priorities
