Jobmatch employment is the longest operating Disability Employment provider in the Gympie and South Burnett regions. We are a community based Not-for-Profit Inclusive Employment Service (IES) and NDIS provider that has worked together with employers and job seekers to achieve quality outcomes for 33 years. The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Disability Employment Service (DES) and NDIS manager to excel in the new program and make their mark on a well-positioned and well-respected community organisation by cementing existing relationships and driving a newly invigorated strategic agenda.
The role also includes oversight of our new Containers for Change depot in Gympie, a facility employing local jobseekers to process 10cent return containers as part of the Qld COEX scheme.
You will be responsible for all performance outcomes, financial results, overseeing best practice service delivery, compliance and business growth for all aspects of the business. You will have very strong commercial and financial acumen and the ability to generate opportunities for enhancement and growth. Understanding how to develop and sustain a funding model in today's highly competitive DES/IES and NDIS landscape will be highly regarded.
You need to be a compassionate, ethical professional with a style of leadership that consistently inspires others to support the strategic direction of Jobmatch. As such, you will have a hands-on approach to leading a team across multiple offices (in Gympie and Kingaroy), who will work alongside you to make a positive difference in the lives of job seekers.
Ideally you will have lived or worked in a regional centre and have experience managing services and building networks in tight-knit communities. A key component of the position is being able to sustain and create effective working relationships, both internal and external to the organisation.
The successful candidate must have a current Blue Card and a valid Qld driver's licence.
Selection Criteria
Extensive experience in the DES and NDIS sectors at both a strategic management and operations level, including P&L and compliance requirements.
Demonstrated leadership skills that combines high performance with a values-based culture delivering benefit to the customer, community and organisation.
Proven capability in inspiring and sustaining performance to meet targets in the Disability Employment Services (now Inclusive Employment Service) industry.
The ability to identify, pursue and manage strategic partnerships across government, corporate and community stakeholders within a regional setting.
