Overview
Our client pride themselves on providing an exceptional legal service to all their clients. They are well-known within the local community and are currently seeking a Conveyancer or Conveyancing Assistant to join their Toowoomba team.
Qualifications / Experience
The ideal candidate will have prior conveyancing experience and solid knowledge in the field. You could have worked previously as a Conveyancer or as a Paralegal or Administration Assistant, which saw you working directly in a conveyancing department.
This role is temporary in nature with the potential to be long term, but there are no guarantees that it will become permanent.
Responsibilities
* A-Z file handling for residential and commercial clients from start to finish;
* Attending to queries, both incoming and outgoing, for clients, real estate agents, banks, brokers and other solicitors;
* Ordering and compiling checking searches;
* Preparing settlement figures and booking in settlements;
* Compiling Title Office forms and ensuring adherence to all procedures; and
* Any other ad hoc tasks related to your role and skills.
