About the role
Silhouette Smash Repairs is seeking an experienced Vehicle Painter to join our dynamic team in our Alexandria location. As a full-time Vehicle Painter, you will be responsible for expertly restoring and refinishing damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in the success of our automotive repair shop.
What you'll be doing
1. Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, masking and priming
2. Mix and apply paint to vehicles, ensuring a seamless and high-quality finish
3. Perform colour matching to achieve a perfect colour match
4. Complete final detailing and quality checks to deliver vehicles in showroom condition
5. Maintain a clean and organised work environment
6. Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
1. Formal qualification in vehicle painting or a related automotive trade
2. Fully qualified vehicle painter in a professional automotive repair environment
3. Strong eye for detail and ability to achieve a high-quality finish
4. Proficient in the use of painting equipment, tools and materials
5. Excellent colour matching skills
6. Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
7. Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
