About the role
Reporting to the Marketing Portfolio Director – Bitesize, this is an exciting opportunity to work across our iconic Bitesize brands, including Maltesers and Pods. This role will be accountable for leading the development and deployment of our brand and segment growth initiatives, in line with our strategic priorities of the business.
Role Title: Senior Brand Manager – Maltesers & Pods
Location: Melbourne, Victoria
Hours & Arrangement: 12‐month fixed‐term contract. Full‐time. Hybrid (3 days in office).
Reporting to: Marketing Portfolio Director – Bitesize
Responsibilities
* Lead the creation of data‐driven marketing and 3‐year growth plans, incorporating consumer, shopper, category and customer insights.
* Drive a robust 3–5 year innovation pipeline aligned to brand strategy, market trends and grounded in consumer insights, and ensure the core portfolio is fully optimised.
* Partner with cross‐functional teams to deliver key brand initiatives and customer plans.
* Lead strategic comms briefing for Maltesers. Manage execution of comms and lead media strategy implementation and optimisation.
* Leverage market data and the S&OP+ process to drive brand health, manage risks and guide decision‐making.
* Foster a high‐performing culture, mentor team members and actively manage personal development and performance.
Qualifications
* University Degree, preferably in Business/Marketing/Brand Management.
* A passion for brands, people and delivering results.
* Significant experience in brand marketing in international FMCG companies as a Senior Brand Manager or experienced Brand Manager.
* A proven track record in brand ownership and P&L management.
* Strong analytical, presentation, stakeholder and communication skills.
* A highly strategic, insights‐led marketer who has a creative passion for understanding the consumer and growing brands.
* Ability to manage several different and complex high‐profile projects at the same time.
