* Base Salary up to $101,617 plus 12% Superannuation (Any offer made will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful candidate)
Opportunity
As the NRW Field Specialist you will be responsible for the operational delivery of field-based Non‐Revenue Water activities, including the management of the Active Leak Detection (ALD) contract and support for customer‐side leakage investigations.
This role requires a practical understanding of water network infrastructure, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with leak detection contractors and HWC maintenance staff in the field while contributing to broader team objectives.
Responsibilities
* Manage the Active Leak Detection (ALD) contract
* Provide field support for leakage investigations and repairs.
* Assist in the analysis of network monitoring data including from District Metered Areas (DMA), acoustic monitoring platforms and other asset information systems to contribute to the identification and resolution of water loss issues across the network.
* Assist with HWC usage monitoring and other NRW management activities.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in field operations related to water networks or utilities.
* Strong problem‐solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently
* Strong communication skills for customer and contractor interactions
* Familiarity with leak detection and metering technologies
* Experience managing or supporting ALD contracts or programs
* Knowledge of DMA network monitoring systems
* Technical qualifications in water operations or engineering
