**Job Description**:
Toll Aviation is currently recruiting an aviation training officer within the Aerodrome Reporting Officer role which will encompass an aviation support role to join the team based in Brisbane. While you will be based in Brisbane you will be required to travel to Remote and Regional Airports for up to two week assignments.
This position is responsible at a national level for the training and assessing of Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) MOS139 Aerodrome [Part 139 (Aerodromes) Manual of Standards] requirements against the respective aerodrome manuals along with nurturing and developing new and ongoing government, corporate and private aviation relationships across Australia and where applicable, overseas. This position is also required to work within the Toll Uncrewed Systems (Drones) team supporting day to day operations when not undertaking MOS 139 duties in aviation support.
You must have aerodrome operations experience and the qualifications to ensure compliance with Civil Aviation Safety Authority Regulations, Aviation Transport Security Regulations, Local Government requirements and Occupational Safety and Health Legislation.
You must have a proven record of training diverse, remote indigenous and Torrens Straight Islander staff and effective training management which is essential for the role.
**Qualifications**:
**Skills and Experience**
- 3 to 5 years in aerodrome operations and ARO supervisor role in an aviation environment.
- Detailed understanding of the MOS 139 along with the ATI requirements
- Must hold an ARO/WSO and AROC Certificates.
- Must maintain an ASIC
- Desirable to have been a SCO for a TSP and ATI
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the Client, Tenants, and contractors
- Problem solving skill in remote locations
- Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
- Strong computer skills to write reports, use spreadsheets and relevant Aviation software
**Qualifications**
- Certificate III in Aviation (Aerodrome Operations)
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Advanced first aid
- Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate
- Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate Instructor approval (desirable)
- Current Meteorology Observer (Class 2)
- Experience and Approval for Driving airside both civil and military
- Must hold and be able to maintain a RED ASIC
- Must hold and maintain an Australian drivers licence for operating equipment at the Airport
