We're seeking an Associate Director, Product Manager – Identity Verification (IDV) to lead the design and implementation of critical IDV processes across all customer interaction channels.
Your mission: deliver seamless, secure, and compliant identity verification journeys that build trust and protect our customers.
What You'll Do Drive innovation in identity verification and customer experience.
Collaborate with CX and Process Excellence teams to ensure IDV processes are frictionless yet secure.
Partner with Architecture and Technical Product Managers to deliver future-ready IDV solutions.
Own and manage the Optus Identification Policy and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
Work with fraud, decisioning, and data teams to monitor fraud attempts and continuously improve processes.
Identify compliance issues and remediate within agreed timeframes.
What makes you perfect for the role?
3+ years in technical/product/platform management for complex software.
Ability to frame problems with clear PRDs and measurable OKRs.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Leadership capability to influence across teams and drive outcomes.
Understanding of identity verification and digital onboarding technologies, including document and biometric verification tools.
Familiarity with Australian regulatory frameworks governing identity data and verification.
Experience designing secure solutions for capturing, verifying, and maintaining uniqueness of customer identity information.
Experience with leading IDV platforms and tools is highly desirable.
