Job Title
We are seeking a skilled Injury Management Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in injury management and workers compensation management.
 * This role is responsible for providing support, guidance and coaching in work-related case management, strategies and rehabilitation.
 * The specialist will also provide technical advice on legislation and its application in early learning environments.
Key Responsibilities
 * Implementing claims management strategies and approved initiatives for work-related and non-work-related injuries/incidents.
 * Developing and monitoring meaningful plans for work-related and non-work-related claims notifications to insurers within legislative timeframes.
 * Collaborating with injured employees, managers, and relevant stakeholders to develop and monitor injury management plans.
 * Identifying and resolving barriers to sustainable return-to-work, including gathering medical information.
 * Maintaining alignment between claims management strategies and key business performance objectives, including reducing workers' compensation premiums and claims costs.
 * Communicating regularly with injured employees, their managers, insurers/claims agents, nominated treating doctors, RTW specialists, and other involved parties.
Requirements
 * A minimum of 3 years' experience in injury management and workers compensation management.
 * Current Return to Work Coordinator (RTWC) certification.
 * Tertiary qualifications in Injury Management or Health and Safety are desirable.
