Holistic Strength is a local Perth based multi-discipline allied health business, on a mission to provide the most holistic allied health services in WA. We do this by collaborating with other providers internally and externally, offering easily accessible allied health services in the community (people's homes, schools, local rec centre's, local parks etc), thinking outside the box and drawing from our life experience to give tailored advice to each individual under our care. We are on the search for another amazing OT to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who is able to cover across Perth, Cockburn, Rockingham and Mandurah, initially before settling into a specific area. Qualifications & experience
* Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy
* Registration with AHPRA
* 1+ year experience in working with people that are living with a disability is preferred, but not essential.
Tasks & responsibilities
* Guide NDIS participants through therapies to improve their daily living skills.
* Work within a multi-disciplinary team to liaise with other practitioners and achieve high quality outcomes.
* Design strategic therapy plans for NDIS participants that Therapy Assistants can follow and implement.
* Undertake Functional Capacity Assessments for people living with a disability and provide a detailed report with their living circumstance and recommended supports.
* Support with navigating the NDIS and the constant changes.
* Mentoring from senior Occupational Therapists.
* Professional development through regular multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss certain participants and disabilities.
* Personal development pathway creation with your manager that aligns with your future ambitions.
