Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT leader to lead our high-performing IT team in delivering strategic initiatives that drive business growth and success.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
 * Lead, mentor and grow a high-performing IT support team
 * Oversee helpdesk application support operations and ensure timely resolution of tickets
 * Develop and implement continuous improvement processes and monitor their effectiveness
 * Work closely with Group IT leadership to implement changes and improvements
 * Deliver key IT projects on time with strong planning and reporting
Requirements
 * 5+ years of hands-on IT experience in a mid-size or larger multi-site environment
 * Proven leadership skills and passion for mentoring and developing people
 * Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 on-premise services (certifications like Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator plus)
 * Solid understanding of networking (CCNP similar preferred)
 * Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira Service Desk etc.)
 * Familiarity with ITIL comparable ITSM frameworks
 * Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex issues into plain language
 * Proactive and collaborative mindset with a willingness to travel (New Zealand quarterly 2–5 days at a time)
