Role Overview
Are you passionate about Safety and Wellbeing? We're seeking an experienced OHS & Wellbeing Lead to drive a proactive, safety-first culture across our organisation and help our people thrive. This is a values-led role delivering practical WHS, injury management and wellbeing initiatives that support positive outcomes for our people.
About You
You are a practical, people‐centred WHS professional who enjoys partnering with leaders to turn legislation and best practice into workable systems. You are confident managing processes, advising and coaching, and using data and insights to drive continuous improvement - while bringing empathy and clarity to injury management and return to work. You are values‐led and committed to creating a safe, inclusive workplace where wellbeing is everyone's business.
Skills & Attributes
* Quals in Occupational Health and Safety, HR, WHS, Personal Injury Management, or a relevant field.
* Demonstrated experience in OHS/WHS, WorkCover, RTW and/or injury management.
* Strong working knowledge of relevant legislation and a solutions‐focused approach to consultation and risk.
* Confidence building relationships across a diverse workforce and influencing safe, inclusive practices.
* Experience managing competing priorities and sensitive matters with discretion and great organisational skills.
Our Organisation
Cafs (Child and Family Services Ballarat) is an independent community service organisation based in Ballarat for over 160 years. We provide over 50 programs across a range of service areas, caring for clients within communities across the central highland region.
