The Project & Opportunity:
HumeLink East involves expanding the existing Bannaby 500 kV substation, along with designing and constructing 230 km of new 500 kV double circuit transmission line. This line will connect the Bannaby 500 kV substation at the Wondalga interface with HumeLink West.
We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer for bulk earthworks for this project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with design teams to provide feedback and constructability reviews.
* Lead and manage a team of experienced engineers.
* Support and provide technical assistance to supervisors and superintendents.
* Oversee procurement of plant, equipment, and resources.
* Provide regular reports, including end-of-month cost reviews.
Required Skills and Competencies:
* Strong people skills and the ability to build trust, backed by excellent communication skills.
* A tertiary qualification in engineering or equivalent. Experienced Senior Project Engineers or established Project Engineers seeking advancement are encouraged to apply.
* Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders to achieve outcomes and develop strong working relationships.
