Our Client MOONTA HEALTH AND AGED CARE SERVICES INC - 86 431 340 844 – Located in Moonta, SA is seeking a Full-time Enrolled Nurse for for $73,150 to $75,000 per year, depending on skill level. INCLUDES Superannuation. Overtime and Penalty Rates are also available
DUTIES:
* Evaluate, develop, and implement nursing care plans for patients, ensuring adherence to professional standards and best practices.
* Administer medications, provide treatments, and monitor patients’ responses to care, adjusting plans as needed.
* Support Registered Nurses and collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and assess the quality of care delivered.
* Facilitate health education initiatives to promote wellness and prevent illness within the community.
* Assist with essential newborn care, including bathing, feeding, changing, and settling infants.
* Offer guidance and practical training to parents, equipping them with the skills to care for their newborns confidently.
* Provide compassionate emotional support to parents as they navigate the early stages of parenthood.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
This position will require the following from the employee:
* Must provide a NDIS worker screening clearance that is dated not more than five years old to enable the assessment of whether the employee is suitable to provide care under the Aged Care Act.
* Must comply with having annual flu vaccination and be fully immunised against COVID-19.
* One year of full-time on-the-job experience.
* Advanced Diploma or Diploma qualification
* Own transportation
