The Audit Office is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the Deputy Audit Manager role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and supervise audit teams to ensure effective and efficient operations.
* Assist in planning, conducting, and reporting on financial compliance audits, reviews of internal controls, and other issues of importance.
* Liaise with senior managers in public sector agencies to foster strong relationships and achieve results.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Completed a Bachelor degree in accounting or commerce, recognized under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
* Commenced the professional accounting program for full membership of a professional accounting body.
* Proven leadership skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
